Assessment Tools and Analytics

“The first step towards change is awareness. The second step is acceptance.”

– Nathaniel Branden

At BP Coach Training, we provide various assessment tools for organisations and individuals, to complement the coaching services.  For organisations, the assessments work by measuring a variety of criteria for the employees: organization culture, intellectual ability, achievement motivation, skill proficiency, work styles, behavioural characteristics, and personal values.  For individuals, the assessments provide an opportunity to learn something about themselves, with the goals of self-improvement, behavioural change and enhancement of their workplace relationships.Assessments24x7 Dashboard

Behavioural Assessment (DISC)

The DISC Assessment helps individuals understand their behavioral styles. It categorizes behavioral traits into four types: Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, and Conscientiousness. Each type has unique characteristics and ways of interacting with others. Knowing your DISC profile can lead to improvements in communication and teamwork. It is a practical tool with benefits in both personal development and business settings..

The DISC Assessment are catered to various applications:

1.  DISC Self –  The DISC reports are as much prescriptive as they are descriptive. In other words, the DISC reports are unique because they teach users specific skills to improve their own interpersonal interactions. While the reports do go into considerable detail describing users’ natural DISC behavioral style, we believe this is really just the first step. The reports empower users with specific recommendations unique to their individual profile. When utilized, these skills have the ability to enact powerful and demonstrable returns. To see significant professional and interpersonal benefit, we believe it’s important that the DISC users come away with fast, effective learning strategies that demonstrate immediate results.

2.  DISC Leadership  –  Empower your organization’s managers with the ability to get the most out of their teams. DISC Leadership report trains managers to:

  • know their natural behavioral tendencies,
  • identify their employees’ observable behaviors, and
  • adapt their leadership style to optimize the employees’ work style and team performance.

Ei2 EQ Assessment

Emotional Intelligence (EIQ-2) Assessment

The Emotional Intelligence (EIQ) assessment helps you understand the way you apply your emotional intelligence in terms of style, preferences and behavior. It will bring clarity in determining how appropriately and effectively you apply your knowledge and feelings in a given situation. It’s this understanding that forms the basis on which you can make adjustments in order to be more effective in the future; personally as well as professionally.

A person with a high emotional intelligence is more likely to be aware of and manage his/her behavior in stressful workplace situations. That balance lends itself to improved decision-making and leadership. A person with a high emotional intelligence level is also likely to be better at “reading” the emotions in others, thereby engaging them for more profitable and mutually beneficial outcomes, whether that be in sales, management, customer service or team projects.

Every individual is capable of improving his/her emotional intelligence and gleaning the almost immediate benefits that come with this heightened self-awareness. The Emotional Intelligence (EIQ) assessment offers us a roadmap to begin and continually refine this simultaneously personal and professional endeavor.

360° Behavioral Profiles

What if you had an enhanced 360° view of yourself? In other words, imagine having the ability to process the collective perceptions of how others see you. Often times, the way we perceive ourselves and the way others perceive us are two very different things. Even experienced business leaders will persist in communication and organizational practices with the belief that everyone recognizes their “obvious” intentions, resulting in negative interpersonal communication.

The assessments tool provide what is termed a 360° functionality where the user can pull the collective “perception data” from dozens (even hundreds) of his/her colleagues, employees, direct reports, clients— anyone. These observer or rater reports provide each user the unique opportunity for an objective “self audit” so they can eliminate (or even proactively prevent) workplace inefficiencies stemming from behavioral misunderstandings.

Multi-source feedback involves gathering input from various observers, including direct reports, managers, and peers, interacting with the assessed individual. This comprehensive approach provides a well-rounded view of one’s behaviors, assets, and blind spots, designed to help ensure a more accurate and holistic insight. The 360° Assessment includes an unlimited number of observer assessments, providing individuals with a better understanding of their strengths and areas for improvement.

DISC 360°

The DISC 360º allows individuals to enhance the traditional DISC self-assessment by using the same questionnaire with observers providing their perspective of your behavior and emotions. You can compare and contrast what you think you are doing and what they experience to determine what may support or hinder your effectiveness.

EIQ 360°

The EIQ 360º reveals how one’s perceived emotional intelligence in four key areas compares to observer feedback. It highlights the ways we may think we recognize and manage emotions effectively, but fall short with others. With this insight, you will be able to examine if and how your EIQ matches what others perceive.

Leadership Effectiveness 360°

The Leadership Effectiveness 360° measures current leadership strengths and areas of improvement in eight of the top competencies that distinguish exceptional leaders. Additionally, these competencies are examined not just through their own eyes, but also through the eyes of their peers, managers, and direct reports.

DISC + EQ Assessments

DISC + EQ Assessments (Enhanced) Report

The DISC + Emotional Intelligence assessment goes beyond just measuring observable behaviors, by integrating Emotional Intelligence, helping you understand not just how people act, but how they manage emotions, respond under pressure, and interact with others.

DISC
Defines how people naturally behave, how they communicate, make decisions, and interact with others.

Emotional Intelligence (EI)
Explains how those behaviors are managed, how individuals recognize emotions, regulate responses, and adapt to situations.

DISC + Emotional Intelligence

Brings both together, helping you understand not just how people act, but how they respond, adapt, and perform in real-world situations.
