Certified EQ and DISC Behavioural Practitioner – Building Team Cohesion
The intent of this 2-day workshop is to equip leaders, HR professionals and Coaches with the skills and (EQ & DISC) tools needed to enhance team dynamics, foster collaboration, and drive organisational success. This course is eligible for SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) WSQ Funding for participants who are Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident.
This course is designed to equip Leaders, HR professionals and Coaches with the skills and tools needed to enhance team dynamics, foster collaboration, and drive organisational success. By integrating Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and DISC behavioural assessments into organisational development strategies, this program provides a powerful framework for diagnosing and addressing team challenges. These tools are essential for understanding individual and group behaviours, enabling leaders to create more cohesive, high-performing teams.
DISC assessments offer a structured approach to understanding behavioural styles—Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, and Conscientiousness—and how these traits influence workplace interactions. When combined with EQ, which focuses on self-awareness, empathy, emotional regulation, and social skills, organisations gain a comprehensive toolkit to address both behavioural tendencies and emotional dynamics. This integration allows leaders to identify and bridge gaps in communication, resolve conflicts effectively, and align team members toward shared goals.
By integrating DISC and EQ into organisational development strategies, this course empowers participants to diagnose team dysfunctions, design targeted interventions, and foster a culture of trust and collaboration. These skills are critical for leaders and professionals aiming to build cohesive, high-performing teams that can adapt to the challenges of today’s dynamic workplace.
This is a blended learning course which consists of:
Pre-course self-paced eLearning session
2 days facilitated classroom session cum assessment
This course uses DISC Awareness, a first-of-its-kind evaluation tool that integrates DISC and Emotional Intelligence (EQ) Assessment results. DISC Awarenessprovides broader insights into communication styles, behaviours, and EQ to help organisations benefit from increased employee commitment and cooperation, more effective team building, and improved conflict prevention and resolution in the workplace.
This course equips participants with the skills to strengthen team cohesion by building trust, managing conflict, fostering commitment and accountability, and driving results. Through tools like EQ and DISC assessments, participants will identify trust gaps, enhance communication, and align team behaviours with shared goals. They will design practical interventions, such as training and coaching, to improve trust, resolve conflicts, and achieve measurable outcomes.
