Description
The Certified Self-Mastery Coach (CSMC) program is targeted at leaders, HR teams and professionals seeking to be a PCC credentialed coach under ICF Level 2 path. The aim of the program is to equip learners with Advanced Coaching Principles and Positive Psychology competencies to develop self-mastery in coaching.
The CSMC certification is accredited by International Coaching Federation (ICF) under the Level 2 pathway, for those pursuing the ICF PCC (Professional Certified Coach) credential.
Self-Mastery is our ability to master our emotions, attention, thoughts, motivation and actions to achieve our goals in life. This program uses Positive Psychology and Advanced Coaching Principles in its approach to enable learners with practical and scientifically proven interventions. Positive Psychology is a scientific study, development and application of positive interventions aimed at increasing well-being. Understanding the human characteristics for optimal well-being will enhance the learner's skill to "Coach the Person" instead of focusing on the client's problem.
COURSE STRUCTURE
The Certified Self-Mastery Coach (CSMC) program consist of a total of 128 contact hours.
The CSMC program is divided into two parts:
A) Certified Performance Leadership Coach (CPLC) program – 75 hours
The CPLC is a Level 1 program consisting of 75 hours. Learners are required to complete a minimum of 60 hours of foundational coach-specific training aligned to ICF core competencies, at least 10 hours of mentor coaching and performance evaluation (submission of coaching audio and transcript).
There are 3 coach-specific training modules and mentor coaching/performance evaluation portion to be completed
- Coaching for Performance and Capability Development (CPD) – Coaching Foundation
- Emotional Intelligence (EQ) for Transformational Leadership (EQT) – Transformational Coaching
- Team Leadership for Performance and Results (TLP) – Team Coaching
- Enhancing Coaching Capabilities through Reflective Practice and Mentor Coaching (MCR) - Mentor Coaching/Performance Evaluation
B) Advanced Self-Mastery Series consisting of two classroom facilitated training and an asynchronous learning/reflection/assessment module – 53 hours
- Self-Mastery in Coaching for Mental Well-Being with Positive Psychology (SMW)
- The objective of this 2-day course is to equip learners with the Self-Mastery skills in coaching for mental well-being in the workplace and to build team resilience by applying Positive Psychology
- Self-Mastery in Coaching: Building Relationships and Achieving Goals with Positive Psychology (SGR)
- The objective of this 2-day course is to equip learners with the Self-Mastery skills in coaching individuals and teams in the workplace to build positive relationship and achieve personal and professional goals.
- Self-Mastery in Professional Coaching (SPC)
- Self-paced module consisting of Asynchronous eLearning, Reflective Practice (submission of written journal on coaching practices) and Performance Evaluation (submission of coaching audio and transcript) to be evaluated at the PCC Level.

Certified Self-Mastery Coach (CSMC) Program Overview
This program is structured to provide learners the flexibility to complete the modules at their own pace. However, learners must complete all the 4 modules in Level 1 first followed by the other advanced self-mastery modules in the sequence recommended above to be awarded the “Certified Self-Mastery Coach” certificate.

Successful participant will receive a "Certified Self-Mastery Coach" certificate accredited by ICF under the PCC Level 2 pathway. Individuals who are pursuing the ICF PCC credential can complete the rest of the credentialing requirements at their own time. Participants will also receive a CSMC Digital Badge which is a verifiable representation of the individual’s accomplishments, skills, and competencies, promoting recognition on their social media e.g., LinkedIn profile and for professional growth.

The pricing shown is before any SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) training grant subsidy. Participants who are Singapore Citizen (SC) or Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR) are eligible for SSG Training Grant Subsidy under the WSQ accredited funding scheme. Participants are required to meet the minimum attendance requirements and to pass each of the modules to be eligible for the subsidy.
